"Octavia Eugenia Northen was born Dec. 29, 1840 and married Samuel Sullenberger in Sept. 1869. Her husband was a native of Highland Co., VA , where he was then, and until about 1896, engaged in the mercantile business at Monterey, the county seat. In 1896 he closed out his business there and traded his town property for a farm near Vanderpool, in the same county. He is now living on this farm. Mrs. Sullenberger has dark brown eyes and hair, fair skin, delicate features, was slender and very pretty in her younger days, is somewhat stouter now. She is a member of the M.E. Church, South. Her children are Don, Lynn, Carl, Lloyd and Max Sullenberger."
